Accessibility Statement
We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
Accessibility commitment
USAIndiaCFO is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to deliver an inclusive experience for people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice input, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
Accessibility is treated as an ongoing improvement program. We prioritize fixes that affect core journeys such as reading service information, completing enquiry forms, and booking consultations.
Conformance status
Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site partially conforms: the measures below are in place and tested, but we have not yet completed a full audit against every success criterion, and we have not yet tested the site with screen readers.
If you encounter an issue, please contact us and we will work with you to provide an accessible alternative.
What we have in place
On the pages of this website:
- A “Skip to content” link as the first item on every page, and the same header, menu, breadcrumbs and footer on every page
- Headings, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and breadcrumb trails that describe where you are
- Keyboard operation of the main menu and its Services panel, the site search, the call menu and the mobile menu: Enter or Space opens them, the arrow keys move through their links, Esc closes them, and while the search or the mobile menu is open, keyboard focus stays inside it
- A visible focus outline on every link, button and form field
- Text colours chosen to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text in both colour themes (Bronze and Blue); you can switch the theme in the menu or at the bottom of every page
- On phones: body text of at least 16 pixels, labels of at least 12 pixels, buttons and links with a touch area of at least 44 by 44 pixels, and no sideways scrolling
- Text alternatives (alt text) on the images of our main pages; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting: animations and moving 3D scenes are replaced by still versions
- A visible label on every form field
Third-party content and tools
Some site functionality is delivered through third-party tools. Scheduling (Calendly) is used to book consultations and may open in a widget or on Calendly’s own page; we have limited control over its accessibility.
If a third-party component creates an accessibility barrier, contact us and we will offer another way to complete the same task, for example booking a call by phone or email.
Known limitations
We know about the following limitations and are working on them:
- Interactive visual sections (the Insights map and some animated or 3D sections) are designed for pointer use first; the same content is available as plain text and lists on the same pages
- Many images inside older Insights articles were imported from our previous website without descriptive alt text; we are adding it article by article
- Screen-reader testing (for example NVDA with Firefox, VoiceOver with Safari, TalkBack on Android) has not been completed yet
We review reported issues and prioritize fixes based on their impact on essential tasks.
Compatibility
The website is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) on desktop and mobile, and with browser zoom and text scaling.
How we test
We check the site with automated tests at desktop, tablet and phone widths in both colour themes, covering text contrast, text size, touch-target size, sideways scrolling, missing alt text and broken images, and with scripted keyboard tests of the skip link, the menu, the search, the call menu and the mobile menu.
When we add new pages or components, we run the same checks before release. This statement was last reviewed on 17 October 2026.
